Sarah Schuck chosen as Fall Term Psychology Scholar Award Winner

Each term the faculty members of our School select and publicly recognize an outstanding student who has shown strong academic performance and outstanding involvement in psychology research labs, internships, or student organizations during her or his academic career at OSU. It is my great pleasure to announce that we are awarding Sarah Schuck with the Psychology Scholar Award to acknowledge her many achievements in the discipline. Her mentor, Dr. Mei-Ching Lien, nominated Sarah in a very complimentary letter that detailed her superlative efforts in the classroom, the laboratory, as an officer in Psi Chi, in her job at the OSU Library, and in an array of volunteer positions. In this letter, Dr. Lien also highlighted some of the character attributes that make Sarah so effective: diligence, modesty, warmth, and dependability. It is clear that Sarah deserves our high praise and recognition.

Sarah will receive a monetary award and will have her name engraved on an award plaque in Reed Lodge.

Please join me in congratulating this outstanding student!
