Pi Sigma Alpha

Pi Sigma Alpha is a political science honorary which engages its members in community involvement to raise awareness of social issues and promote leadership and success of its members. During 2007-08 Pi Sigma Alpha sponsored a film festival including showings of Michael Moore's "Sicko", a documentary on the Iraq war "No End in Sight", and a film about the American Way of living on credit card debt.

Pre-Law Society

The Pre-Law Society is designed to promote prelaw educational opportunities at OSU and to assist OSU's pre-law students. The group promotes networking of community groups with campus organizations to share a common interest in the law and to exchange information and resources. All interested students, from all departments and pre-law programs at OSU, are encouraged to join this group. Faculty Advisor: Professor Rorie Solberg.

International Affairs Club

The International Affairs Club is dedicated to promoting the International Business Option, International Exchange, and the general subjects of international business and politics. We work to promote global awareness on the Oregon State University campus and to provide our members the opportunity to attend a Model United Nations conference. Faculty Advisor: Professor David Bernell.

Model European Union

In February 2011, six Political Science students competed in the 2011 West Coast Model European Union hosted by the University of Washington’s European Union Center of Excellence in Seattle.  The teams represented Greece, Malta and Slovakia. Professor Sarah Henderson supervised and accompanied the students.
