The OSU trombone choir, directed by Henry Henniger, is a top performing group at Oregon State University. With many different performances throughout the year, the highly dedicated members of this group are committed to making beautiful music for the community to enjoy.
It is our hope that the community will use our calendar as a resource for information about all of the upcoming OSU Trombone Choir performances. If you are interested in having the group perform for a special event please contact Henry Henniger.
Student Information:
All members of the trombone choir must be enrolled in lessons. The ensemble will usually contain 8-10 trombones and possibly one Tuba player depending on the size of the ensemble. (Tuba players must also audition.)
Trombone Choir (MUS 166/366) meets twice a week this term. Rehearsals will be on Mondays at 9am and Wednesdays at 9pm. All rehearsals will be in Benton Hall, room 202. This is a class. Make sure you sign up! If you have problems signing up please contact Henry Henniger. Acceptance to trombone choir is by audition only.
Expectations of Trombone choir members:
This year trombone choir auditions will be combined with OSU Band auditions. Audition material will be the same for both trombone choir and band. Please download the audition material and information from the OSU Marching Band Website.
