Katherine Hadley teaches graduate and undergraduate students in music education courses specializing in general music and focusing on elementary and middle school levels.

Hadley received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Idaho in 2001 and a master's degree in music education from Oregon State University in 2007. She taught general elementary music, orchestra, band, choir, and percussion in Idaho and Oregon for six years. 

An accomplished oboist, Hadley also plays percussion, viola, and piano, and enjoys conducting a variety of ensembles. As a composer and arranger, Hadley has written many compositions and arrangements for school ensembles. In 2008 she was awarded a commission by the State Department Idaho to write pieces for both elementary choir and middle school orchestra.
