Education
In addition to teaching Music Appreciation for OSU Ecampus, Susan Peck is the full-time music instructor at
Linn-Benton Community College. At LBCC, she teaches Music Fundamentals, Music Appreciation, Introduction to Jazz History,
directs the Concert Choir and Chamber Choir, and will co-direct "Once Upon a Mattress" spring term 2006. Peck is a member
of Oregon Music Teachers Association, Unitarian Universalist Musicians Network, and the American Choral Directors Association.
She is the chair of the UUMN publishing committee for a UU Children’s Songbook coming out in 2006, which includes her own
composition, “Earth Goes Merry Around the Sun.” She traveled to Turkey in May 2000 on a Rotary Group Study Exchange devoted
to arts and culture, and toured Hungary and Romania with Musicians of Unitarian Universalist Societies International Choir.
