Nicola Nine-Zielke is staff accompanist, voice coach, and vocal instructor at Oregon State University, where she works with the OSU Chamber Choir. She holds a bachelor's degree in piano performance from Friends University and a master's degree in piano performance from Wichita State University, where she studied with Andrew Trechak. Prior to her arrival at OSU, Nine-Zielke spent three years as a voice coach and accompanist at the University of Arizona, and five years as an accompanist for numerous competitions, contests and recitals at Florida State University.
Nine-Zielke is a member of NATS, the National Association for Teachers of Singing and OMTA, the Oregon Music Teachers Association. She has accompanied regional and state honor choirs throughout the northwest, and is on the choral staff of the Oregon Ambassadors of Music. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, and loves to garden in Oregon.
