Bonnie Esbensen is a specialist in Theories of Learning and
Cognitive Development, and she is particularly interested in the
cognitive aspects of learning and teaching piano. Esbensen holds a
Ph.D. from the University of Oregon, and an M.Ed. from the
University of California, Los Angeles. She maintains an active
private studio and is on the state board of the Oregon Music
Teachers Association
