Brief Vita
Elizabeth Atchley is accompanist and voice coach at Oregon State University, where she is pianist for the OSU Meistersingers men's chorus. She is also the chorus mistress for the Willamette Concert Opera. Atchley holds a bachelor's degree in piano performance from the University of Montana, where she studied with Rudolph Wendt and Dennis Alexander, and was accompanist for the Collegiate Chorale. She completed her master's degree at Texas Community College, where she studied with Adele Galanfy of the Budapest Conservatory, and with Dennis Alexander. Atchley has performed with many theatrical and opera productions including
The Pirates of Penzance,
Dames at Sea,
Oklahoma, and
Big River. She performed on the first community release of
Beauty and the Beast from Disney Studios. At OSU, Atchley performed as pianist for the OSU theater and music department's summer and fall revival productions of
H.M.S. Pinafore, and the new musical
Spin. Beth relocated to Corvallis from Montana to be near her daughter who just completed a degree in veterinary medicine at OSU.
