Angela Carlson teaches music theory and is active as an accompanist. She is an opera preview lecturer for the Linn-Benton Opera Guild, and works with Opera Theater Corvallis as an accompanist and lecturer. Carlson studied flute, piano, and harpsichord at the University of Idaho, the University of Wisconsin, the Guildhall School of Music in London, and the Aspen School of Music. Carlson has been publicly performing duets with pianist Rebecca Jeffers for more than 25 years.
