If you're a bike rider, Corvallis is bike path heaven. Those who like to hike will appreciate the many opportunities close to campus-from Bald Hill to McDonald Forest. There are a number of community festivals during the year, including daVinci Days, a unique festival celebrating art, science, and technology, and the annual Fall Festival.
Corvallis, and metropolitan areas as Portland and Eugene within an easy drive, offer a full schedule of activities such as plays, musical performances, and other cultural events. In addition, Corvallis is about an hour away from the Oregon Coast and the central Oregon Cascades.
