Zeta Phi Beta. An African-American Sorority was founded on the campus of HowardUniversity

in Washington D.C. on January 16th, 1920.  Based on the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love

and Finer Womanhood.Our mission statement is "The purpose of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority is to foster the

ideas of sisterhood,service, charity, civil and cultural endeavors,  scholarship and finer womanhood. These

ideals arereflected in the sorority's national program for whichits members and auxiliary groups provide

voluntary service to staff, community outreach programs, fund scholarships, support organizedcharities,

and promote legislation for social and civic change."
