Organization Facts: 

Kappa Delta sorority was founded on October 23, 1897 at the State Female Normal School in Richmond, Virginia. Our open motto is Ta Kala Diokomen, which stands for "Let us strive for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest."

OSU Philanthropy:

Mock Rock- is the highest earning philanthropy on campus.  Since 1988, Alpha Kappa has raised over $290,000 for child abuse prevention and education in the Corvallis community with our funds locally supporting the Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV). Our fundraising success comes from Mock Rock-the most anticipated philanthropy event at Oregon State. Mock Rock receives the highest participation of the Greek community and has won Philanthropy of the Year for multiple years.
