The Sigma Delta chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. was chartered on April 30th, 2000 on the campuses of Oregon State University and the University of Oregon.
National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), or Divine Nine as it is oftentimes referred, is a collaborative organization of nine historically African American, international Greek lettered fraternities and sororities. The nine NPHC organizations are sometimes collectively referred to as the “Divine Nine“. OSU has several Divine Nine Greeks. Check out their page for more information.

The OSU Greek community has 24 fraternities 18 sororities. There are 6 fraternities and 8 sororities without Greek houses at OSU. In total, more than 2,800 students within 42 fraternities and sororities (and growing) are in our community.
New members of IFC fraternities JUMP into brotherhood in the Memorial Union quad, building trust for new members who have just joined a fraternity. This marks the official end of fraternity recruitment at Oregon State University.
A 75 year tradition at Oregon State University, SING is a musical showcase where fraternities and sororities collaborate to produce musical performances.
The Civil War halftime events include a Greek Tug-O-War competition between the two final fraternities and sororities.
