Feature Stories

On May 30th, 2014 Zeta Phi Beta Soroity Inc., a National PanHellenic Council affiliated organization, received their charter from their international headquarters. The 5 founding members were introduced at their organizations probate event the Friday before.

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), or Divine Nine as it is oftentimes referred, is a collaborative organization of nine historically African American, international Greek lettered fraternities and sororities. The nine NPHC organizations are sometimes collectively referred to as the “Divine Nine“.

The OSU Greek community has 24 fraternities 18 sororities. There are 6 fraternities and 8 sororities without Greek houses at OSU. In total, more than 2,800 students within 42 fraternities and sororities (and growing) are in our community.

A 75 year tradition at Oregon State University, SING is a musical showcase where fraternities and sororities collaborate to produce musical performances.
