Participate in our Special Events!
Career Services has a variety of events that we would like to invite you
to participate in.
Each Fall, Winter and Spring term Career Services has a Career Week just
prior to our Career Fairs. During this week we have opportunities for your
organization
to partner with Career Services and come to campus to give presentations and
do some networking with students and campus representatives. Listed below are
descriptions of our programs.
M.O.C. (Making Outstanding Connections) - Fall, Winter and Spring
OSU Career Services invites employers to participate in a mock interviewing
event. This is an opportunity for employers to connect with OSU students
and share expertise, advice, and world-of-work experiences. If interested
in participating, please contact OSU Career Counselor Adry Clark, 541-737-0519,

Mock Interview day/times:
Choose as many hours as you
wish – we
have plenty of space and market the event to all OSU students.
Employer Panel - Fall, Winter and Spring
OSU Career Services invites employers
to participate in a presentation focused on Resume Tips for students.
This is a great opportunity for students to hear directly from employers
about the do's and don'ts of resumes and interviewing. It is also a
great opportunity for employers to meet some students on the night
before the Spring Career Fair. Contact Edie Blakley at 541-737-3654

Networking and Dining Etiquette - Fall and Winter Only
This program will take place Winter 2008. The first part of the program
is designed to allow
students to interact with employers in order
to learn about the networking process.
Then at 5:45 we will move to our
Dining Etiquette portion of the program which consists of a 4 course meal.
While eating, there will be a presentation on etiquette during meals associated
with interviews. When dessert is served there will be a debriefing on networking
followed by questions and answers.
To participate in this event you have the option of being a Sponsor or Host.
The cost to sponsor the event is $200.00. For this
your organization will receive recognition in our student newspaper, posters, the event program, and your table will be identified.
The cost to host the event is $25.00 per representative. For
this you will receive recognition in the event program and your table will be identified.
