Opening lecture for Climate Masters Program

Climate Masters Title slideOutreach: Christoph Thomas gave the opening lecture "Climate Change 101" for the Climate Masters program on Jan 6, 2010 on OSU campus. The Climate Masters program is cosponsored by OSU Extension, the University of Oregon's Climate Leadership Initiative and Linn-Benton Community College. The participants go through 33 hours of research based climate change and carbon emission reduction education then, like the popular Master Gardener and Master Recycler programs, they are supposed to go out and donate 30 hours of their time sharing what they have learned with the community. This is a very unique partnership that was formed to help bring climate change information and behavior change tips to the general community.
