Description:

Human activity influences the climate on the Earth. We will explore the main elements of the Earth's climate, discuss its historic development, learn about the main pathways of manmade changes and their impacts, as well possibilities to mitigate and adapt to climate change.

We will use the textbook "Global Warming - the complete briefing" by John Houghton in this course, copies are preordered and available at the OSU Bookstore in the MU building.
