What to Expect from the ShowThe Bard in the Quad performances are outdoors in the spectacular surroundings of the Memorial Union quad. As a result, you may experience some noise from passing traffic, from planes, or from emergency vehicles. We try to ensure that all audience members can see and hear the performances, but please be aware that weather conditions can often have an impact on the actors and their voices. The earlier you arrive, the closer you can get to the action! The lower your lawn chairs, the closer you can get.
What to Do If It RainsIf we experience seriously inclement weather conditions, it may be necessary for us to cancel a performance. In that case, you can either return your ticket to the box office for a full refund or (better yet) keep your ticket and use it at any other performance during the run. If we experience bad weather over more than a few days, we may make the decision to remount the show later in the summer.
