Et tu, Brute? Bard in the Quad is coming back for its 19th season with Shakespeare’s gripping historical tragedy, Julius Caesar running August 1-4 and 8-11 in the Memorial Union Quad.

Auditions will take place on the Gladys Valley Gymnastics Center 106 on the OSU Campus (1701 SW Jefferson Ave) May 19 at 12:00 pm and 20 at 5:00 pm. A full-text version of this script is available online at https://www.folger.edu/explore/shakespeares-works/julius-caesar/read/

Those auditioning should read the script beforehand and be prepared to perform cold readings and movement exercises. Please wear close-toed shoes to the audition.

Auditions are open to all students, staff, faculty, and community members!

Roles are available for a cast of 14-16 performers.

Rehearsals will begin with a meeting read-through on June 4 in the evening. Regular rehearsals will start June 23 and be scheduled Sunday 12:00-6:00 pm and Monday-Thursday 5:00-9:00 pm. Tech/Dress rehearsals is July 27-31. Performances run August 1-4 and 8-11 with a company celebration on August 12. All cast members must be available for all of tech week, performances, and a strike immediately following the closing performance.
