Category I Proposals
Require State-level approval. Extended Proposals: new degree programs; new certificate programs or administrative units; significant new options within existing programs, or major changes in existing programs. Abbreviated Proposals: establishment of new centers or institutes; reorganization of colleges, departments, center or institiutes; renaming degrees, certificate programs or administrative units; and the elimination of majors, degrees, or certificate programs.
Category II Proposals
New permanent courses, modifications to existing permanent courses, dropping existing permanent courses, experimental "X" courses, grading modes (A-F, P/N), minors, options, certificates, admission or retention standards within an undergraduate major.
Baccalaureate Core Course Proposals
New/modifications/drop to Baccalaureate Core courses and Writing Intensive Core courses
