
Over the past 10 years, Oregon State University has created a culture of innovation. Invested in new faculty and facilities. Established an entrepreneurship curriculum teaching 1,200 students each year. Doubled research funding to nearly $281 million in 2012. The result: more than two dozen successful startups — so far.
The Venture Accelerator Program is designed to identify ideas or research innovation that might form the basis for profitable companies, then streamline their development by providing analytical, technological, legal, marketing, financial and mentoring resources. Drawing from the resources of the Office for Commercialization and Corporate Development and the College of Business, the Venture Accelerator helps create successful businesses, drive economic growth and expands education and job opportunities for students, graduates and other Oregonians.
