        APPLICATION PRIORITY DEADLINES

        Your admission application and $60 nonrefundable fee must be postmarked by these deadlines
        to be considered for scholarships. Later applications will not be considered for scholarships, but
        may still be considered for admission.

        FIRST-YEAR ADMISSIONS CRITERIA


        Oregon State promotes student success by assessing your preparedness and academic potential in the
        context of your personal experience. The basic considerations for admission are:

        •  Strength of high school curriculum and academic performance
        •  Insight Résumé responses

        •  SAT or ACT exam results
              » Essay is not required, but is recommended for SAT tests taken in March 2016 and later.

        TRANSFER ADMISSIONS CRITERIA


        Transfer students are students who have successfully completed at least 36 quarter (24 semester)
        graded, transferable credits from one or more regionally accredited colleges or universities. The basic
        considerations for regular admissions are:
        •  Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25 on transferable credits
        •  Grade of C- or better earned in the following courses:
               »  College-level writing equivalent to WR 121 (English Composition)

               »  Mathematics equivalent to MTH 105 or 111 (College Algebra) or higher
        •  Completion of the Insight Résumé
        •  Students who graduated from high school in 1997 or later must meet a second language
            requirement with either two years of high school-level study in the same language or two
            quarters/semesters of college-level study with a minimum grade of C-
        •  Transfer students must be eligible to return to the most recent college or university attended
        •  Consideration will be given to applicants with a minimum 2.0 GPA who have received the
            Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer degree from an Oregon community college
