        An Oregon State University degree  will help  you develop critical
        thinking, communication and leadership skills you need for success
        in any career — and in life.


        At OSU-Cascades you’ll fi nd lots of resources to get your future
        off  to a good start, including a dedicated career development
        counselor who will give you individual attention.


        Our Career Development Center hosts career fairs, employer
        site visits, networking events and career development
        programs that will help you connect with employers and
        develop important skills.

        The center staff  can help you:


        •  Identify your career strengths, values, personality and
          interests, and how they relate to diff erent career paths

        • Write a winning résumé and cover letter

        • Practice interviewing skills

        • Find jobs and internships in your fi eld

        • Use social media to advance your career

        • Learn to negotiate a salary
