Certification of Finances & Cost of Attendance

OSU Certification of Finances Form and Evidence of Funding

All international applicants to OSU must complete and submit the OSU Certification of Finances Form during the application process.  Evidence of funding is also needed from applicants who require an F-1 student visa.  Sponsors (eg. parents, relatives, government agencies, etc.) must complete the affidavit of support section on page 2 or provide an appropriate letter.  

The OSU Certification of Finances Form can be completed, saved, and printed using Adobe Reader. The printed form must be signed by hand and posted, faxed or scanned and sent as an email attachment intladmit@oregonstate.edu. Fax: +1.541.737.4220.

Cost of Attendance

Room and Board, Books and Incidental costs can vary greatly from student to student, however the estimates below are based on what is considered a reasonable average cost of studying at OSU and living in Corvallis, Oregon.

Summer tuition and books are not included above. Tuition and fees for Summer Term is approximately $2,580 for 12 credits.

Additional evidence of funding must be shown if you have an accompanying spouse and/or dependents. The estimates are based on 12 months of living expenses, including health insurance: $8,772 for the first dependent and $3,866 for each additional dependent.
