Check Your Application Status

To confirm receipt of your application and supporting documents, please self-monitor your application status online.

Due to the large volume of applications, we cannot send an email response for each item received. Please note that it can take 7-10 days for documents to be processed and entered in our database.

If you submitted the online application, you may use the same Login Name and Password that you originally created.

If you submitted a paper application, your Login Name will be your OSU ID and Your Personal Identification Number (PIN) will be your date of birth (MMDDYY - month, day, year).

Next, you should see your application under "Processed Applications". Click on your application and you will see a summary list of your personal contact information, degree information and required application documents. A blank line next to an item under "Required Documents" means that this item has not yet been received.

Some documents, such as the OSU Certification of Finance Form and evidence of funding or official transcripts and test scores (vs photocopies) may be submitted at a later date, following the credential evaluation.  If you require an F-1 student visa, financial information will be required, however, before we can issue the I-20 document.

If you wish to make changes to your application (e.g. defer to a future term, change your mailing address, or change your major, please submit an Admissions Application Change Form request. Approved changes will be reflected in your application summary generally within 7-10 days.

Once all necessary documents and materials have been received, please allow 2-3 weeks for the admission decision to be made and indicated next to "Application Status".
