Tomorrow, February 1st, is the admissions priority deadline for scholarships! For those of you who still need to get in supporting documents such as transcripts, fee deferral forms, test scores, or want to check your admissions status; here is some helpful information:

Test Scores: Official SAT and/or ACT, or any AP/IB test scores need to be sent directly from the testing agency. Having the scores on your transcript is not sufficient. We do not advise students to pay for rushing the scores.

Official Transcripts: For high school transcripts, contact your counseling or registrar’s office and have your official transcripts sent to our Office of Admissions. If you are an out of state student, we do accept transcripts through Docufied. If you have college credit, please send official transcripts to us in order for you to receive academic credit. Transfer students, contact the Registrar’s office at your current institute and have official, sealed transcripts sent via mail or electronically directly from the institution. Official transcripts can also be sent from high school or college via fax to 541-737-2482.

Fee Deferral Forms: If you qualify for fee deferral, please be sure to have the form filled out and turned in to us ASAP via mail or fax from the appropriate approving individual. The form and requirements can be found here.

Check Application Status: If you would like to check your application status, follow the steps here.

Questions?

If you have any questions or concerns about your admissions application to Oregon State University you can call the Office of Admissions at 1-800-291-4192 or email at osuadmit@oregonstate.edu.

The address to send all information to:

Office of Admissions

104 Kerr Administration Building

Corvallis, OR 97331

Happy applying and go Beavers!

If you are the typical incoming OSU student, you’ve probably already had a whirlwind summer! Between high school graduation, START, your internship/summer job, hanging out with friends and purchasing decor for your residence hall room…You probably haven’t thought much about some of the nuts and bolts things you need to do to finish up the admission process.

WAIT! You say…I have more to do with admissions!? Yup, you probably have a couple of outstanding requirements. Don’t panic though, The Admissions Blog is here to help!

If you are an incoming first year student you need to:

Send us your final high school transcript (order it from your school).
If you haven’t already, send us your SAT or ACT scores.
AND any IB/AP scores that you wish expect to receive credit from.
Order transcripts from any community colleges that you have credit from.

If you are an incoming transfer student you need to:

Have your final college transcripts sent to OSU.
Get any other documents that the Office of Admissions asked for to us.

Whether you are a first year OR transfer student, if you haven’t signed up for one of the few remaining START programs…You need to register ASAP! If you don’t register for start you won’t have a class schedule until CONNECT Week.

Got questions? Put ‘em in the comments section. Otherwise, enjoy the rest of your summer. We can’t wait to see you this fall!

Go Beavers!
