It is with great excitement that I bring to you all the news about our Global Formula Racing team. They recently competed at Michigan International Speedway, which is considered to be the national championship of Formula SAE racing, and won first place for the third consecutive year. Not only did we win first place overall but we also won first place in engineering design, endurance, and the SAE Spirit of Excellence.

The competition included 120 teams from all around the world. A majority of the teams came from the United States, Canada, Austria, Germany, Finland, Singapore, South Korea and the United Kingdom.

This team is one of its kind as it is truly a global collaboration between the U.S.-based Formula SAE and European-based Formula Student programs – which respectively is the Beaver Racing Team from Oregon State University and the Duale Hochschule Baden-Wuttemberg-Ravensburg from Germany.

The upcoming documentary, RELENTLESS, will be taking viewers through a year in the life of the Global Formula Racing Team as they “devote every waking moment to the relentless pursuit of an international championship bid in this feature documentary.”
