OSU 4th in EPA College & University Green Power Challenge

In the recurring sustainability theme here at OSU, the EPA just released its College and University Green Power Challenge results. OSU came in fourth in the nation overall and first in the Pac-10. This last year, OSU purchased 66,680,400 kilowatt hours (kWh) of green/sustainable energy, good for 74% of our total power usage. [...]

The College Sustainability Report Card for 2008 has Oregon State University listed as one of the Top 25 leaders in campus sustainability. This annual report is published by the Sustainable Endowments Institute. From their Executive Summary:

OSU signs ‘Climate Neutral’ pledge

Oregon State University has taken yet another step towards campus sustainability.
