Donate blood and save lives!

Beaver Nation get ready! It’s time once again for the Annual Civil War Football Game. Every November both Oregon State University and University of Oregon battle head-to-head during the Civil War game. This year the war will be fought on November 26, 2011 in the Ducks homeland of Eugene, OR. However, there is another Civil War currently going on between the Beavers and the Ducks that actually saves lives: The Civil War Blood Drive! This year marks the 10^th anniversary for the Civil War Blood Drive. The Ducks won last year, but you can help the Beavers bring the Civil War trophy back to Corvallis. The only way to score points for our team is by donating blood. If you are not eligible to donate blood, please consider recruiting someone to give in your place. Every vote counts!

When you schedule a donation, please be sure to say it is on behalf of the Beavers. You can do this at any blood drive in the State of Oregon, from November 3-19. In addition to helping OSU win the competition, you’ll be helping to save lives!

 All participants may enter a drawing to win one of several pairs of Civil War football game tickets, a $100 certificate to the Beavers or Ducks store, or a Civil War party package. Also, OSU students have ben recognized for holding the largest American Red Cross Blood Drive in the Northwest. The Blood Drive runs through Thursday in the MU.
