The group Campus Pride has ranked Oregon State as one of the top 50 LGBT Friendly colleges and universities in the U.S.! According to the The Oregonian,
The group released its national rankings, which are based on campus policies and practices, including whether the school pays special attention to recruiting LGBT students, providing them with customized counseling and health care, and offering courses and library materials that focus on LGBT people and issues.
In Oregon State’s efforts to provide a supporting and welcoming environment for students who are as LGBT, OSU’s Pride Center provides many programs support services. Additional campus resources include gender inclusive living, the ASOSU Queer Affairs Task Force and SOL: LGBT Multicultural Support Network.
