On June 25th Oregon State University’s College of Public Health and Human Sciences became the first, and only accredited program in the state of Oregon.
The accreditation is from the Council on Education for Public health, an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs outside schools of public health. Receiving accreditation means that experts in the field of public health agree that the College of Public Health and Human Sciences is of high quality; has the curriculum, faculty and resources needed to continue meeting high standards; and produces graduates that have the knowledge and skills to succeed in their fields.
This makes OSU the only accredited public health school in-between Seattle at San Francisco. Learn more about our College of Public Health and Human Sciences.
