Si Se Puede

OSU will be hosting the Si Se Puede event at McKay High School on April 8th, 5:30-8:00pm!  This event is a great opportunity for Latino students and their families to meet OSU faculty, staff and students to help in planning and preparing for college. The program will be primarily in Spanish with English translation available. Here are a few highlights of the program:

  • Resource fair before and after the program including representatives from various student clubs, the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP), the College of Pharmacy, College of Business and College of Liberal Arts
  • Topics covered: admissions, financial aid, housing, College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP), Educational Opportunities Program (EOP) and Student Support Services (SSS)
  • OSU student panel
  • Stories from the parents of current students
  • Free child care and food will be provided

This is a free event and no pre-registration is required. Si Se Puede is open to high school students 9-12 grade. There will be something for everyone including taking a picture with our life-size Benny the Beaver cut-out! We hope to see you there. For questions, please contact:
