The OSU football team made their way to San Antonio on Sunday in preparation for the 20th Annual Valero Alamo Bowl against the Texas Longhorns, this Saturday. Practice has called for shorts with sunny weather, despite the gusty winds.
The Alamo Bowl marks the first postseason game for the Beavers since the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas in 2009. Coming off a great season, the Beavs will enter the Alamo Bowl ranked No. 13 in the BCS standings and with a 9-3 overall, 6-3 in the Pac-12 record. The Longhorns will enter with a BCS ranking of No. 23 in the Nation and an 8-4 overall, 5-4 in the Big 12 record.
