The Oregon State Gymnastics team won the Pac-10 Championship at Pauley Pavilion on UCLA’s campus last weekend. Head coach Tanya Chaplin said she’s “really proud of the way this team performed tonight…I’m so proud. This is great momentum as we head into the NCAA Championship season.”

During the regular season, the Beavers fell to the defending conference champion UCLA twice, but were able to come out on top last weekend. UCLA placed second and Washington took third.

In addition to winning the conference championship, Tanya Chaplin was also named Pac-10 Coach of the Year for the second year in a row.  OSU gymnast Leslie Mak also took home an award and was named Gymnast of the Year.

OSU is now ranked No. 3 going into the NCAA Regional Championship. The Corvallis Regional will be held next Saturday, April 2nd at 4:00 p.m., here on campus at Gill Coliseum. Other teams competing will be No. 10 Nebraska, No. 15 Iowa, Southern Utah, San Jose State, and Michigan State. Tickets can be purchased online at osubeavers.com, by phone at 1-800-GO-BEAVS, or at the OSU Ticket Office in room 107 of Gill Coliseum.

Come out and support our Gymnastics Team as they compete to qualify and advance on to the NCAA Championships!
