February 3rd, 2011

OSU Top Honors

OSU alumni consistently make a major impact in our communities and globally through the Peace Corp.  With continuous dedication, its not a surprise that Oregon State University ranks No. 25 on Peace Corps’ 2011 rankings of colleges and universities in the large category (more than 15,000 undergraduates). There are currently 47 undergraduate alumni serving as Peace Corps volunteers.

OSU graduates have a long tradition of serving as Peace Corps Volunteers in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Latin America, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Since the Peace Corps was established by President John F. Kennedy in 1961, 1,180 OSU alumni have served as Peace Corps volunteers. This is more than any other university in Oregon!
