Time is Running Out!

January 31st, 2011

Tomorrow, February 1st, is the admissions priority deadline for scholarships! For those of you who still need to get in supporting documents such as transcripts, fee deferral forms, test scores, or want to check your admissions status; here is some helpful information:

Test Scores: Official SAT and/or ACT, or any AP/IB test scores need to be sent directly from the testing agency. Having the scores on your transcript is not sufficient. We do not advise students to pay for rushing the scores.

Official Transcripts: For high school transcripts, contact your counseling or registrar’s office and have your official transcripts sent to our Office of Admissions. If you are an out of state student, we do accept transcripts through Docufied. If you have college credit, please send official transcripts to us in order for you to receive academic credit. Transfer students, contact the Registrar’s office at your current institute and have official, sealed transcripts sent via mail or electronically directly from the institution. Official transcripts can also be sent from high school or college via fax to 541-737-2482.

Fee Deferral Forms: If you qualify for fee deferral, please be sure to have the form filled out and turned in to us ASAP via mail or fax from the appropriate approving individual. The form and requirements can be found here.

Check Application Status: If you would like to check your application status, follow the steps here.

If you have any questions or concerns about your admissions application to Oregon State University you can call the Office of Admissions at 1-800-291-4192 or email at osuadmit@oregonstate.edu.

To whom it may concern, I need a copy of my 1972-1973 transcript. I was (Elizabeth Eileen Killoran, 06/26/1954) a Senior from South Salem High School and planned to major in Marine Science, but fell ill that year and could not finish. Whom should I contact? What is the cost of a copy of my transcript? Can it be emailed to me? Thank you for any help you might provide.

    Hi Elizabeth,

Here is a link to the Office of the Registrar with instructions on how to request your transcripts:

Let them know if you have any questions!

    Go Beavs.
