More Accolades for Corvallis

It isn’t enough that Corvallis was recently ranked as one of the smartest cities in America. Now, more high praise for Corvallis. Country Home Magazine has named Corvallis as the “Best Green Place to Live in America”.

NEW YORK -Country Home magazine announced today its second annual Best Green Places, the results of a nationwide study on green living. The study, administered in conjunction with Sperling’s BestPlaces, reveals that Corvallis, Oregon is the 2008 Best Green Place to live in America. The report is in the April green issue of Country Home which hits newsstands March 18th.

    First of all my Great Grandfather was JCAvery. Secondly I am an Oregon Stater and proud of it and have especially enjoyed watching Oregon State Baseball the last 2 years. Loved Corvallis always and missed having the Avery family reunion there in November.
