The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will only be processing scholarship applications once the February 1 application deadline has passed. Previously, the office awarded scholarships beginning on November 1 and then again after February 1.
The University Honors College will be making some selections on applicants after the November 1 early consideration deadline and again after the February 1 priority deadline.

I was told at college visit at Century High School in Hillsboro Oregon a month ago that early application by November 1st
meant that you would be eligible for more scholarships and it also helped get housing priority
can you confirm that?
I see it states in this blog that Nov. 1st deadline no longer helps with scholarship opportunities? Only date of Feb. 1st? So Oregon State school advisor at college night was wrong?

By applying to OSU by the Feb 1st deadline (for the Fall 2008) and completing the scholarship section on the OSU application, you are considered for scholarships at OSU.
