    Beavers open season with a no-no

    The 2007 campaign started out with a bang for the 2006 NCAA National Champion Beavers as Mike Stutes and three other pitchers combined to no-hit the UH-Hilo Vulcans and win 5-0 to begin the year.

    Oregon State opens Marine Mammal Institute

    Time Warner CEO to speak at OSU

    Richard Parsons, the chairman and chief executive officer of Time Warner, will give a free public lecture at Oregon State University on Thursday, Feb. 8, beginning at 7 p.m.

    Parsons’ lecture is titled “The Future of Media.”
