How to Change the Classification:
On the “Proposed Position Title” page, click the “Change Position Title” button to search and select the proposed position title (classification).
Other Notes:
If the proposed salary range is over five salary ranges higher than the position’s current range, it is not a reclassification and a competitive recruitment must be conducted for the position. Please contact your Business Center HR contact for assistance.
For approved requests, the effective date is the first of the month following the month in which the request was approved by the funding authority. This procedure is governed by the SEIU Collective Bargaining Agreement.
