Eligible OSU employees appointed at half-time or more may register for classes at special rates. Upon approval of the university president or designee, an eligible employee may register for a maximum of twelve (12) credit hours per term at staff fee rates, under the terms and conditions described in the
(.pdf file). To qualify for staff fee privileges, the employee must meet the eligibility criteria no later than the first day of classes of the term of enrollment.
Tuition Rates
Employees their dependents may register for courses at 25% of the per credit resident undergraduate tuition. Academic, professional and classified employees whose appointment is equivalent to 0.50 FTE or more may take up to 12 credits a term at this rate. Payment of staff fees entitles the employee instructional and library privileges only. The applicable course fees and resource fees are charged at 100%, and family members are subjected to the mandatory enrollment fees.

for details on fees. If your family member is attending an institution other than OSU, contact the institution for tuition and fees.
Submission Deadlines
Refer to Staff Fee Privilege Deadline. Different deadlines apply depending on whether you or your dependent are enrolling and whether you are enrolling at OSU or another OUS institution.
For classes taken at OSU, the submission deadline is four (4) weeks after the date classes start each term. All forms must be submitted to the Office of Human Resources, Kerr Administration, Room 204.

Graduate Degree Approval
Although faculty members (both ranked and professional unclassified) are eligible to enroll for courses at staff fee rates, such course work may not be applied to a graduate degree without prior approval of the Dean of the Graduate School. Exceptions to

Family/Domestic Partner Transfer
Eligible employees may transfer their staff fee privileges to one family member or domestic partner upon verification that the transferee is a qualified recipient of transferred staff fee privileges. The term "family" includes spouse and dependent children in accordance with IRS Code and domestic partner as defined per Section One of the PEBB Affidavit of Domestic Partnership,
