Assessment Academy
The Assessment Academy promotes and highlights practices and impacts of outcome-based assessment of learning for all undergraduate and graduate students at Oregon State University. It also establishes networks that support ongoing assessment at all levels.
In particular, the Assessment Academy:
- Showcases the best practices in Student Learning Outcomes-based Assessment already in place at OSU. It mentors faculty in using this knowledge to improve assessment processes in their units.
- Honors and rewards faculty for mentoring others in developing valuable assessment programs.
- Helps advance the ongoing and joint efforts of Academic Programs, Assessment & Accreditation (APAA) and the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) in supporting faculty development for assessment.
