Academic Programs, Assessment, and Accreditation (APAA) Home

To maintain the viability of the Oregon State University academic enterprise and to align with the OSU Strategic Plan, the Office of Academic Programs, Assessment, and Accreditation was restructured on September 1, 2011.

The Office has three major areas of responsibility:

Academic Programs staff are responsible for assisting all academic units, the Graduate School, and the Faculty Senate with the coordination and facilitation of curriculum, new program development, articulation, and academic program reviews.

Assessment staff support all academic units to enhance student learning experiences through the student learning outcomes assessment process, ensuring the quality of all educational programs. The Office also oversees the Electronic Student Evaluation of Teaching (eSET).

Accreditation staff coordinate all campus efforts associated with reporting to the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) and liaison between the Senior Vice Provost of OSU and NWCCU.
