Whereas: The Annual Farm Fair & Trade Show is held as a non-profit, Community

event for informal education/information purposes, and

Whereas: All exhibitors, co-sponsors and contributors are, in effect, partners

in this Community event

Therefore: Be it understood that all exhibitors and other contributing partners

provide, use and display goods and equipment, and employ staff at

this event at their own risk, and that no claim will be made against

the City of Hermiston and/or the Greater Hermiston Chamber of

Commerce (who is providing the physical facilities) or against any

other partner in this event for theft, damage or loss of property, or

for accidental damage to person or property. Exhibitors will conform

to facility and city fire codes, i.e., flammable materials such as straw

bales, trees, candles, etc. must be approved by the City of Hermiston

Fire Department in writing no later than one week prior to the event.

A copy of the approval must be given to facility management.

Be it further understood that the exhibit fee is in the form of a contribution to defray

costs of lights, heat, and space for the facilities used.
