On-line taxonomic treatments available

This is the OSU Experimental On-Line Image browser. This page is being developed in an attempt to "show off" some of the magnificant flora of the Pacific Northwest. This page is also being developed to allow students in Dr. Aaron Liston's Bot 221 - Intro to Plant Systematics class the opportunity to view plants they're learning in class. All of the avaliable in-line images will allow you to download a larger, higher-resolution version of the sam e image simply by clicking on the in-line.

Eventually we hope to have on-line information and references for each of the plants presented.

Please note:

The on-line images that are avaliable for downloading are packed jpegs that are packed for quality, not compression. What this means to you is that unless you have a jpeg viewer and at least a 14.4 kb modem (or better - a hardwired connection to the Inte rnet), you're better off just looking at the in-lines. Just a warning.
