Trends in Aquatic Habitat
A trend analysis is currently
being completed determine if trends in habitat can be detected in coastal
watersheds. We developed a linear mixed model to assess trend with the
following goals:

Describe the trend in habitat conditions

Determine the relative contribution of the
variance components influencing trend detection capabilities
-
Estimate the power to detect
trends under multiple scenarios

Discuss the implications of this trend assessment
on future habitat monitoring
