Poland's Distant - Water Fisheries in Nineties - Problems and Possibilities of their Overcoming By Jolanta Zieziula ABSTRACT A short introduction presenting a history of Poland's distant - water fisheries begins a paper. It aims at discussing essential problems of Poland's fisheries in nineties, affecting catches, their utilisation, domestic and foreign trade as well as an economic function of distant water enterprises. Problems are grouped in three areas: external ones, internal ones - not depending on enterprises and internal ones - depending on enterprises; all of them separately discussed.
