June 25 -- Absolute

Absolute is a group of five women who believe in music with a message. They blend tight vocal harmonies in performance to weave a musical tapestry that will lift your spirit and arouse your heart. Their music ranges from South African freedom songs to contemporary folk music, from doo-wop to choral arrangements. Their performances will take you from the familiar and silly to the poignant and soulful.

July 2 - - The Cutters (A Family Band)

Combining the musical roots of the British Isles with seafaring and North American traditions, The Cutters sing songs of real people, with stunning harmonies, guitar, banjo, fiddle, bass, bodhran, and Irish whistle. With their energetic performances, driving rhythm, and tight harmonies, The Cutters have earned a wide following in the Northwest.

July 9 -- Three Fingered Jack

This Corvallis group taps into the deep roots of the Celtic world with tunes and songs that connect us to the past and to where we are today. With driving dance sets punctuated by proud and clear traditional ballads, and the occasional drinking song, this group gives an energetic and varied performance.

With Shari Ame on fiddle and vocals, Bruce Marbin on guitar and bouzouki, Beth Brown on cello, and Laureen Urey on bodhran, Three Fingered Jack favors tunes and songs from the Irish, contra dance, and old-timey repertoire. Inspired by Irish masters of traditional music, like Kevin Burke, Martin Hayes, and bands like De Dannan, Shari and Bruce can double up on the melody of a full-speed, highly ornamented "Sligo Maid" reel.

July 16 -- The Severin Sisters

The Severin Sisters have been entertaining audiences throughout the Northwest since 2001. They the finest American Roots music with a bit of bluegrass to show off their exceptional instrumental ability. Heidi was awarded second place in the National Mandolin Championship in 2002 and Amy has received awards playing her treasured 1934 banjo. They play a variety of music featuring hot instrumental licks and vocal harmonies. They are actively performing and recording music in the roots/bluegrass tradition.

July 23 - - The Flow

The Flow's original music blends the lyricism and complexity of acoustic folk with the power and passion of rock. Rita Brown (vocals, keyboards, acoustic and electric guitars) and Bill Smyth (lead guitar) performed as a folk duo for several years and recorded two successful indie cds. Their song "The Car Alarm" was featured on NPR's Click and Clack as well as other radio shows around the country. Don Thorp (vocals and drums) and Mike Grattan (bass) were half of the acclaimed hard rock band Knockout John.

August 6 - - Nettles Trio

The Nettles Trio, an eclectic Celtic jam band, is a variation on Corvallis' well known group, The Nettles. They take traditional music and set it ablaze with improvisation fueled by the power of rock, jazz and blues.  Laura Brophy's fiddle growls and wails to make a highly danceable melodic brew. The rhythm section rocks with Kevin Johnsrude's muscular guitar and Michael Proctor's soulful bass. Come hear the band that Radio Scotland described as "Rimheach! [Gaelic for 'Superb!']"  -- music that "makes it impossible to sit still."

August 13 - - Deadwood Revival

Deadwood Revival's Kim Trenerry, Jason Mogi, and Ches Ferguson join together to make some of the most unassuming, honest "feel good" music filled with the spirit of old-time Appalachia, soulful American roots and a hint of jam-band improvisation. ..."You can tell from the first note that they are crowd-pleasers. They're fun, adventurous and yet true to their roots" said the Folk&Acoustic Music Exchange. Jason's clean, imaginative clawhammer banjo, along with Kim and Ches' driving rhythm on acoustic guitar and electric bass provide the musical backdrop for Kim and Jason's powerhouse vocal harmonies that give Deadwood Revival its unique and unmistakable sound.

Returning for a third year, come on back to soak up some of the "effortlessly cheerful energy" of award winning Deadwood Revival.
