    Summer Activities:

Doug and I have been building a cabin for the past three years in the Elkhorn Mountains of NE Oregon, on the historic Chloride Mine, a patented claim that has been in my family for 50 years.

We are also restoring the Rasmussen family farm in McMinnville, Oregon, to a natural wetland. The farm is on a bend of the Yamhill River. The farm has several shallow ponds on the flood plain and plantings of native trees, shrubs, and grasses.
