I have been looking for ways to take more classes without over extending too much. I have decided that I really need to get moving on getting finished up with school and moving onto a job in the real world. In order to accomplish this a friend of mine suggested that I start working on some online training to supplement the classes that I am currently taking at the University. I thought it sounded like a good idea, but I honestly really didn’t know much about e-learning and so I asked him to help me get started and show me where I could access the information that I needed. I suggested that I would like to gain some more computer knowledge, because computers are essential in all realms of business these days, and I just figured, why not. I really need to get my computer skills up, so he showed me a great online university that could offer me windows server 2008 training, and best yet I will be able to do most of the work online on my own schedule. This will allow me to increase my knowledge and still maintain my class and work schedules.
He also showed me a couple other online options for taking classes and I am seriously considering taking all of my courses online next year, if this class goes well. I would like to really free up my time and begin being able to go out occasionally without always being a slave to a class schedule. I started speaking to another friend of mine on campus, and he said that he had tried online classes once, but that he just wasn’t structured enough to get the work done. I am truly not worried about this however, I know that I am a disciplined enough person to complete my online training work quickly. I am the type who doesn’t like to have work hanging over my head, so I just know that I will probably work more quickly to complete class work and move on to the next subject.
