Food From Home: Winning recipes!

Congratulations to Food From Home Winners!

Thank you to all the residents that submitted recipes and voted in the 2013 Food From Home contest.

Tasting events were held last week (March 5-7) in the dining centers and a winning recipe was chosen via written ballots by attendees at each event. See photos from the events here: http://on.fb.me/WzgsZt.

All winning recipes will be added to the spring term menu rotation in its respective dining center. Other finalist recipes may also join the menu line-up from time to time at the chef’s discretion. Keep an eye out for these delicious student recipes.

McNary Dining Center
Mini Chicken Alfredo (submitted by Victoria Johnson, McNary Hall)

Southside Station @ Arnold (two-way tie)
Bangladeshi Chicken and Vegetable Korma (submitted by Samina Purba, ILLC)
Burmese Prawn Sepyan (submitted by Hsu Sint Sint Yee, ILLC)

All participants in the 2013 Food From Home contest also had the chance to win a Kindle Fire. The winner, chosen at random from all entries, was Gillian Downey (West Hall). Congrats to all the winners!
